Energy Saving
Results | After reflecting environmental value※ | Targets | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
Global | (Japan) | |||
CO2emission [t] | 81,541 | 15,485 | 0 | Target: 3% or more |
Energy consumption (converted into crude oil) [kl] |
43,255 | 7,981 | 0 | Result: 4.96% |
- CO2 emissions reflecting environmental values are offset by environmental certification (Non-fossil certificates, I-RECs, CO2 credits, etc.).
We achieved target of enrgy saving rate in FY2023 with 4.96% on a global basis, through the energy saving activities, such as introduction of high efficiency equipment, process changes, strengthening management, etc.
Water
Results | Targets | ||

Water consumption [1000m3] | 451 | 127 | 415 |
Reduction amount of water consumption [1000m3] | -36 | -50 | |
Reduction rate [%] | -8.6% | -60.6% |
Regarding water usage, we were unable to achieve our reduction target due to the restoration of domestic production following the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in a global increase of 8.6% compared to the previous fiscal year.

Global | (Japan) | ||
Recycled amount [t] | 9,370 | 2,103 | Recycling rate Global: 99.0% or more |
Final disposal amount [t] | 52 | 24 | |
Recycling rate *3 [%] | 99.4% | 98.9% |
- *3 Recycling rate = (Recycled amount) / (Recycled amount + Final disposal amount)
We achieved the target of recycling rate by promoting effective use of resources.
