■Why is CSR Necessary?

①Growing Environmental and Social Challenges

Today, our planet faces numerous issues that threaten the sustainability of society. These challenges are global and intricately interconnected, making them impossible to resolve through the efforts of a single country. Instead, they require a collective response from the international community. In fact, many countries are accelerating the legal frameworks surrounding corporate social responsibility, highlighting the increasing importance of CSR for businesses worldwide.

Growing Influence of Corporations

With the advancement of globalization, the influence of corporations has grown to the point where some companies’ revenues surpass the GDP of entire nations. As a result, there is increasing expectation for businesses to take responsible actions and contribute to solving societal challenges.
