Sustainability Policy
Panasonic Automotive Systems Corporation will take our founder Konosuke Matsushita’s mission
to create ‘an ideal society with affluence both in matter and mind’ as our heritage,
and will directly face to social issues that threaten the sustainability of society.
These include environmental destruction, depletion of natural resources,
global-scale population growth and the aging populations with low birthrates in developed nations.
To deliver a more comfortable life to everyone,
we aim to create a sustainable mobility society by working to resolve social issues concerning transportation.
For this purpose, we are furthering our sustainability management
to address issues concerning the global environment from a long-term viewpoint.
We remain as a ‘public entity of society’ and we pursue the building of ‘an ideal society’
together with all our stakeholders.
In this way we constantly enhance our corporate value.
Sustainability Data Book

The Sustainability Data Book aims to systematically organize and disclose our company's stance on sustainability and ESG initiatives. By publishing the Sustainability Data Book, the company seeks to engage in more meaningful conversations with all stakeholders—including customers (car manufacturers), suppliers, and employees—and accelerate efforts toward creating a sustainable mobility society.
Environment (Environmental initiatives)
We are commited to addressing various environmental challenges, including efforts toward carbon neutrality and resource-recirculating manufacturing, and will continue promoting environmental initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals.
Social (DEI)
We strive to be a place where everyone can maximize their individuality and abilities while embracing challenges. We will introduce our DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) initiatives and share the voices of our employees.
Social (Human Capital Management)
We aim to maximize the value of human capital and promote human capital management to support our long-term growth and development. We will introduce initiatives related to employee training, such as corporate universities for enhancing specialized skills and career development, as well as efforts to improve employee engagement.
Social (Functional Safety)
At our company, safety is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring safety so that no harm is caused to our customers’ life, body, or property due to defects in our products or services. That's why we've become the first tier-one innovation supplier in the North American market to achieve ASIL D process certification for the entirety of the automotive product lifecycle.
