Message from the President
In April 2022, concurrent to the Panasonic Group’s transition to a holding company structure, the automotive business that we are in charge of embarked on a new phase as the Panasonic Automotive Systems Co., Ltd.
As a member of the Panasonic Group that strives to promote a better life for everyone, we have set our mission as “creating a sustainable mobility-society.” We will provide new value in vehicles and the mobility experience, while we continue to be there for users and car manufacturers.
The “sustainable mobility society” we are aiming to create is one where everyone can experience “encounters that touch their hearts”, and one where we can find solutions to all kinds of social issues associated with mobility, including environmental issues, traffic jams and accidents, and difficulties associated with securing a means of transportation.
We will converge the technologies we have accumulated so far in development and manufacturing in the automotive business, and the expertise and know-how the Panasonic Group has acquired in home appliances, housing, and other businesses, and provide cockpit integrated solutions to support safe and comfortable driving, cabin interior innovation solutions to make moving around in a car even more enjoyable, EV solutions to make vehicles lighter and improve electric mileage, and other innovations.
Whatever the times, wherever the place, people are on the move and having various touching experiences and encounters with many people. We want to keep being there for people and realizing stress free mobility for every person, so that we can “continue to create encounters that touch peoples’ hearts.” Heartmotive is the slogan that expresses this sentiment, and that guides our business activities.
