What we do
Seat Heater
As electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid vehicles continue to gain popularity, there is growing demand for seat heaters—heating devices that do not rely on engine-based heating.
Seat Heaters use electric heating wires built into car seats to warm them. Unlike air conditioners, which heat the entire interior of a vehicle, Seat Heaters deliver heat directly to the passenger’s body. This eliminates the need to wait for the engine to warm up. These devices are also highly energy-efficient, maintaining warmth even when heat escapes through the car doors during opening and closing. Some models even allow passengers to adjust the seat temperature to their personal preferences. Without engine-based heating in electric vehicles, seat heaters have become an indispensable feature and are increasingly common in standard installations.
Safety-driven design technologies based on technologies and insights from electric carpet development
We began manufacturing and selling automotive seat heaters in 1981. Building on over 40 years of experience, we remain committed to delivering even greater comfort through continuous improvement.
Heater wires are sewn into the base material in the seat cushion—similar to the construction of electric carpets. When passengers sit down or get up, the heater wires are compressed beneath them. This is especially so at the sides of the seat cushion, where the applied force is often strong, making the wired heaters susceptible to wire breakage. To address this, we developed proprietary wiring patterns and heater wires that are highly flexible. This led to a significant reduction in wire breakage. In addition, we also coat each individual strand within the heater wire with its own insulation layer, preventing abnormal heat generation and ignition.
